Efka® SL 3210 is a slip and leveling agent, a very effective additive to increase substrate wetting, slip, surface smoothness, and gloss. It has good compatibility with a broad range of printing ink systems and is relatively insensitive to pin-holing, even at high dosage. The chemical nature is organically modified polysiloxane.

Wacker Chemie Print Aid E 100 AS is a non-ionic emulsion of a medium-viscosity dimethyl silicone fluid, specifically developed as a processing aid for the offset printing industry. Its low viscosity enables easy pumpability and in-line dilution. The product is compatible with various additives commonly used in the print industry. It offers excellent slip, lubrication, and antiblocking properties while also providing effective antistatic properties.

Gelest DIMETHYLSILOXANE-[65-70%(60% PROPYLENE OXIDE/40% ETHYLENE OXIDE)] BLOCK COPOLYMER, 1,800 cSt (DBP-732) is hydrophilic and provides improved slip. This product functions as a slip agent.

Gelest DIMETHYLSILOXANE-(60-70% ETHYLENE OXIDE) BLOCK COPOLYMER, 20 cSt (DBE-712) is hydrophilic and provides improved slip. This product functions as a slip agent.

SST®-5 is a white low MW PTFE micro powder with particle size distribution at a mean value of 3 µm. SST® products are Shamrock’s PTFE micro powders that are defined by particle size and distribution, molecular weight, crystallinity, surface area, oil adsorption, powder flow, and color. Made primarily from highly controlled recycled PTFE feedstocks, SST® products are used for their ability to provide slip, non-stick, water repellency, texture, release, rub, and abrasion resistance to surfaces.

SST®-1MG is a friable grade of PTFE powder which can be reduced to an average particle size of 1 – 2 microns.

FluoroSLIP® 605 is a combination of spherical synthetic wax and PTFE.

AquaFLON® 52 is a nonionic aqueous dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). The AquaFLON® product line is comprised of aqueous dispersions of PTFE or PTFE with wax. These products are designed for stability, pourability and easy incorporation into water-based systems. They are used as additives to provide slip and abrasion resistance.

S-400-N1 is micronized EBS (ethylene bisstearamide) wax powder showing melting peaks ranging from 99 – 147°C. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provides rub and abrasion resistance. FluoroSLIP® 533 is a blend of hydrophilic synthetic wax and PTFE where the synthetic wax shows a uniform melting range peaking at 97°C.

FluoroSLIP® 893-A is a stir-in powder blend of spherical micronized polyethylene (PE) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).

FluoroSLIP® 511 is a blend of high melting synthetic wax and PTFE.

HydroCER 7410 is a 45% aqueous dispersion of medium molecular weight polyethylene wax. The HydroCER products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.

SST®-2D is a white low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 7 µm. SST®-2D has a tightly controlled particle size distribution, resulting in fewer oversized particles. S-NAUBA 5021 is a concentrated blend of carnauba and synthetic wax showing melting peaks ranging from 84 – 110°C. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provides rub and abrasion resistance. Hydrocer 7112 is a stable, aqueous synthetic wax dispersion. Keep the lid tight on the container to avoid separation. If this product has separated, simple mixing with paddle or propeller mixer is all that will be required. The Hydrocer products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.

CeraSPERSE 174 is synthetic wax and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) compounded in refined linseed oil. Shamrock’s CeraSPERSE products are manufactured using a controlled crystallization process that allows the production of 1 micron wax dispersions. These wax compounds have a translucent appearance with a shiny gloss and a creamy feel. In addition to our standard products, Shamrock can develop and produce a wide range of compounds on a make-to-order basis.

PEL-SIL™ CL340 is a nonreactive, acetate capped, silicone glycol copolymer surfactant supplied at 100 percent active concentration. It provides slip, gloss enhancement, pigment treatment and leveling for ink and coatings applications. Additionally, it provides mar resistance for coatings applications such as glossy printed materials. PEL-SIL™ CL340 is compatible with acrylic, epoxy, nitrocellulose, phenolic, polyester & polyurethane systems. With a low order of toxicity, this product acts as an anti-stick agent in printing ink applications. It is particularly useful for facilitating the slip of magazine covers over one another during printing and distribution. It is also used as a solubility aid to compatibilize blowing agents with isocyanates in the production of polyurethane foams. PEL-SIL™ CL340 is stable in neutral or mildly acidic or alkaline aqueous solutions. It Imparts anti-blocking and improves mar resistance of PU coatings. PEL-SIL™ CL340 is an effective leveling agent for synthetic leather top coatings.

S-483 is a spherical synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 110°C. It has good onset of melting and low crystallinity.
