Tinopal® OB CO is a fluorescent optical brightener that offers excellent heat resistance, high chemical stability, and brilliant bluish whitening effects. It exhibits good compatibility with a wide range of resins for coating and printing ink applications. This product is available in the form of a yellow powder.

Lo-Vel® 6200 belongs to PPG's synthetic precipitated silica product line, which reduces the gloss of coatings, varnishes, and other finishes. It offers high flatting efficiency, compatibility with various coating systems, and ease of redispersion. This product line delivers a balance of clarity and flatting for overprint varnish and topcoats. It can be used in solvent- or water-based coatings, high-solids, 100%-solids, and 2K systems, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of applications.

AFCONA 2040 is a moderate defoamer with minimal side effects that prevents the formation of foam and blisters during manufacturing and application. It offers a combination of good defoaming and compatibility with most resin systems. It is recommended for medium-viscosity applications applied by spray and brush, and is particularly suitable for systems ranging from low polarity to high polarity. AFCONA 2035 is recommended for brush and conventional spray applications.

LO-VEL® 8100 flatting agent is a high-efficiency flatting agent that is ideal for use in a variety of coating systems. It is a synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide, wax-treated silica designed for use where a Hegman value of 6 to 6.75 is required. Moreover, its high flatting efficiency, resistance to settling and heat-age stability provide formulation flexibility and expanded process capability.

AFCONA 2018 is a silicone-free defoamer that is recommended for systems where in-can transparency is important. It prevents the entrapment of air during processing steps such as stirring or pumping, and functions well during the application of paints and lacquers. AFCONA 2018 is well-suited for solvent-based wood finishes where foaming is a problem when applied by spraying.

AFCONA 2020 is a very strong defoamer suitable for most solvent-based coatings, printing inks, and thermosetting resin systems. It eliminates foam and blistering, regardless of the source of the air bubbles. However, it is not suitable for transparent, high-gloss clear topcoats.

AFCONA 2038 is a highly compatible defoamer that does not cause in-can haziness. It prevents the formation of foam and blisters during the manufacturing and application of solvent-based wood finishes. This defoamer has excellent compatibility properties, making it especially suitable for use in clear coatings and high gloss coatings. Additionally, it is suitable for use in applications where dry film transparency is essential, such as when applying thick clear coatings by conventional spraying.

LO-VEL® 8300 flatting agent is a synthetic amorphous precipitated silica treated with a functionalized wax. It is designed for use in waterborne and solvent-borne coatings, and is suitable for coatings with a dry film thickness of less than 1 mil (< 20 microns).

AFCONA 2045 is a silicone-based defoamer used to prevent the formation of foam and blisters during manufacturing and application of solvent-based coatings, including polyurethane clear coats. It is effective even in difficult situations such as airless spray, brush, and roller application, and has strong defoaming properties with a very good transparent appearance.

ASCONIUM® 142DA can replace mineral anti-corrosion pigments or improve their performance in waterborne or solventborne metal coatings. It is a hydrophobic agent that improves the water resistance of dry films. This ASCONIUM® grade can be used as the sole anti-corrosion additive in coatings or in conjunction with other anti-corrosion pigments to improve their performance. MOUSSEX® S 667 is a silicone based highly efficient air release agent for solvent borne industrial coatings systems, suitable for clear coat and pigmented coatings.

x-bond® U 9069 is a bifunctional silane binder. It is a transparent, inorganic-organic high solid curing material. Exhibits scratch- and abrasion resistance with highest UV- and chemical stability. Applications in high-solid coatings, lacquers and solvent containing varnish formulations. Suited for formulation of spray, dip and brush-on paints as well as for fast curing coatings in roller application. Recommended for use in automotive coatings, clear coats, pigmented paints and coatings for plastic, wood or metal.

Stainban™ 185 is an aqueous tannin stain inhibitor additive for water based primers intended for wood protection. The unique mechanism of this product allows it to effectively block tannins in stains, clear coats, and pigmented coatings. It can be easily incorporated at any stage of the manufacturing process and is compatible with a wide range of surfactant and dispersants. Stainban™ 185 is effective at any PVC value of primers, however; it is more economical at higher PVC. It may reduce, or eliminate, the need for zinc oxide and stabilizing amines in primers. Paints made with Stainban™ 185 have good storage stability and improved humidity resistance. It is HAPS free and does not contribute to VOC. Typical use level ranges from 1 – 3% based upon total formula weight.

PPG LO-VEL® 8300 is a synthetic amorphous precipitated silica treated with a functionalized wax. This product is designed for use in waterborne and solvent-borne coatings. Lo-Vel 8300 silica is suitable for coatings with dry film thickness down to less than 1 mil.

PPG LO-VEL® 6200 silica is a synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide flatting agent designed for use where a Hegman value of 6.5 is required. A combination of high flatting efficiency, narrow particle size distribution, ease of dispersion and resistance-to-settling makes this product ideal for overprint varnish and other non-pigmented finishes where clarity, uniformity and smoothness are essential.
