Dolomite 500# is a double carbonate of Magnesium and Calcium (CaCO3. MgCO3) Theoretically, it contains 21.7 MgO and 30.4 % CaCO3 and the remaining being CO2. How ever in nature much variation takes place in the composition. It is sedimentary origin and is supposed to have been formed due to alteration of Calcium Carbonate sediments or rocks, by seawater rich in magnesia.

NYACOL AL20SD is an alumina powder that is dispersible in either water or ethylene glycol. Its dispersibility in other polar solvents is subject to testing. It can be used in applications where a water-based system cannot be used.

STABIL SI 76XX is a non-leafing aluminum pigments distribute themselves evenly throughout the paint film and thus reflect incident light at multiple locations. For this reason, these pigments are highly suitable for tinted paints such as colored metallic automotive paints or tinted hammer-effect enamels. Non-leafing pigments are also preferred for applications requiring excellent adhesion, such as primers.

This enrichment at the boundary protects the paint film from weathering, radiation and corrosion. All these grades are white (whiteness > 90 %).

DCL Corporation Blue 10C560 is a rich blue powder produced by high temperature calcination. This pigment has good UV and visible opacity, is chemically inert, heat resistant, and stable to ultraviolet light. It is non-bleeding and non-migratory. It has exceptional durability and hiding power, and is generally used in applications where resistance to heat, light, and weather are needed. It is compatible with most resin systems and polymers, and is non-warping. Typical applications (non inclusive) are liquid and powder coatings, inks, dispersions, concrete, plastics, and other applications where equivalent pigment chemistry is used.

SB-336 is a medium particle size ATH product that provides low cost flame retardancy and smoke suppression in a variety of applications. The unique particle size is specifically designed for low viscosites, high filler loading levels, and excellent processing characteristics. SB-336 is recommended for spray-up or hand lay-up FRP applications, filament winding, panel production, resin injection, SMC/BMC, foam materials, and cast polyester and epoxy parts.

Micral® 932 is a high surface area alumina trihydrate product with a very precise, ultrafine particle size distribution. Features and benefits include: a lower cost replacement for precipitated ATH; lower soluble soda and free moisture content; improved handling properties; dependable delivery; long-tern availability; exceptional brightness; excellent suspension; an economical halogen-free smoke suppressor/flame retardant.

Manalox™ 130 should be used in a dilute form and should be introduced into the varnish at as low a temperature as is practical. Manalox 130 produces isopropyl alcohol as a byproduct of the gelling reaction.

Manalox™ 318 is an oxoaluminum acylate with an aromatic character designed to provide both high viscosity and high yield stress value properties in lithographic printing ink vehicles. It develops the viscosity within about 30 – 45 minutes at 170-175 °C, but does not react as quickly in the initial stages as does OAO, and therefore it has less of a tendency to produce “seeds” in the varnish. The level of use varies according to the particular varnish formula and type of gell structure desired, but generally falls between 1.0 and 2.5%. Manalox 318 should be evaluated as potential replacement for either Arrow Gell or OAO. One of the expected advantages of replacing OAO with Manalox 318 would be lower water pickup properties in the subsequent ink.

SODASIL® P95 is a Amorphous aluminum and sodium silicate obtained by precipitation in an aqueous medium.

Hymod® M9400 SG is a precipitated, surface treated ATH product that provides flame retardancy and smoke suppression in a variety of applications, such as acrylic, EPDM, EVA, SBR, polyester and polyolefin compounds. The surface modification enables this product to have low moisture and to be easily and uniformly dispersed into polymers at high loading levels. Hymod® M9400 SG can be used in such applications as foamed insulation, wire and cable insulation and jacketing, injection molded and extruded polyolefins and solvent borne coatings. This product provides excellent processing characteristics as well as superior electrical and mechanical properties.

Alba PremiumFC6L is a solvent-based, food contact safe, standard leafing aluminum paste with a lining finesse. It is recommended for special coatings for food contact and paper coatings for food contact, and is suitable for gravure printing inks and food contact printing inks.
