KURARAY POVAL™ 30-92 by Kuraray is a fully saponified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It exhibits good cohesion and adhesion to fibers, fillers and pigments. It offers good bonding strength and pigment binding capacity. KURARAY POVAL™ 30-92 is recommended to produce paper adhesives. It is suitable for pressure sensitive labels. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC regulation.

Tigerlac 5058 are flaked shellacs that are dewaxed and physically decolorized natural resins. The single products differ in the degree of decolorization and yield transparent solutions of different color shade in various solvent systems. Ready for use solutions of the product are available. Aqueous solution of KURARAY POVAL™ 49-88 S2 can be added to polymer emulsion which is already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol to extend the open time, increase setting speed and influence the rheology. It is used in postage stamps and labels. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC regulation. It can be stored for 12 months.

KURARAY POVAL™ 40-80 E by Kuraray is an odorless polyvinyl alcohol manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It is a water-soluble, partially saponified polymer. Its aqueous solution can be added to polymer emulsions already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol which affects the extension of the open time, setting speed and rheology. It is designed for use in remoistenable paper adhesives. KURARAY POVAL™ 40-80 E conforms to EU Directive 67/548/EC.
