Superohm® 3443 is a UL listed 150°C stationary, 125°C flexible low smoke, non-halogenated, lead free flame retardant crosslinkable EPR insulation compound. It is formulated to obtain balanced performance characteristics with excellent electrical properties, outstanding ozone resistance, flexibility, thermal stability and flame retardancy. Superohm® 3443 is a colorable polymeric composition based on ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) containing peroxide curing agent. In a free flowing pellet form, this compound is ready for extrusion in a conventional CV extrusion line.

EXTINITY® 0211-301 is a highly loaded antimony oxide concentrate in an EPDM carrier resin. The antimony oxide content in EXTINITY® 0211-301 is 80% by weight. All SACO AEI Polymers flame retardant concentrates are much more easily dispersed and therefore provide resultant materials with superior physical properties and flame resistance versus the use of additives in their naturally occurring state.

PEXIDAN® SX554 pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM493, in the ratio 95:5, or CM497, in the ratio between 90:10 and 93:7.CM493 is a stronger catalyst suitable for wall thicknesses > 1.5mm and CM497 is a weaker catalyst suitable for small conductor sizes, such as 1 to 4 mm2. The system SX554:CM493 or SX554:CM497, has been approved for use at 1kV and has found uses up to 10kV, it is highly flexible and enables the production of soft rubber cables without the use of continuous vulcanization equipment. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only.

PEXIDAN® SX505NT pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM493 or CM497, in the ratio 95:5. The SX505NT:CM493 or SX505NT:CM497 systems have passed type-tests for use up to and including 36 kV. The graft compound contains a non-staining stabilizer and an effective tree retarder, giving outstanding long term retention of dielectric strength. This compound is typically used in conjunction with crosslinkable semi-conducting material for conductor and insulation shields. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only.

PEXIDAN® SX505:CM493 and SX505:CM497 is a silane crosslinkable rubber compound, curable when exposed to moist conditions. The compound can be processed on largely standard thermoplastic extrusion equipment with good extrusion properties at high output rates. The graft component SX505 is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM493 or CM497 generally in the ratio 95:5. CM497 is a lower strength catalyst masterbatch and is used on thin wall extrusion or to reduce premature crosslinking during processing. The SX505:CM493 or SX505:CM497 systems have passed type-tests for use up to and including 33 kV. PEXIDAN® SX505 is a zero-halogen material and is used as insulation in Low Smoke Zero-Halogen (LSZH) cable constructions
