VESTAKEEP® 5000 G is a high-viscosity, unreinforced polyether ether ketone suitable for injection molding and extrusion. It is a semi-crystalline polymer with superior thermal and chemical resistance. Parts made from VESTAKEEP® 5000 G have low flammability and can be processed using standard machines for thermoplastics.

SABIC's Specialties Business High heat resistant polycarbonate copolymer, provides DTUL of 300F at 264 psi. FDA food contact compliant in limited colors. Effective January 15th, 2008 this grade will no longer be supported with biocompatibility information and should not be used for medical applications which require biocompatibility. The material is RoHS compliant and is intrinsically flame retardant without the use of FR modifiers and offers UL94 V0 and 5VA ratings and FAR25.853 performance. The material may offer excellent dimension stability, strength, stiffness and creep resistance up to high temperature due to its high glass transition temperature of 217°C. Features are excellent mechanical, electrical and dimensional properties up to high temperatures. The material may offer very good chemical resistance for an amorphous material and is inherently flame retardant. The material is RoHS compliant. The material is available in opaque and transparent colors.
