Campine is founded in 1912 and can benefit of 100 year of knowhow for antimony trioxide and 40 years of experience in masterbatch production. Campine is the leading European group in the production of antimony-trioxide and its conversion into fire retardant masterbatches. As part of a metallurgical group, Campine is excellently positioned to source and recycle antimony containing raw materials and convert them into high quality antimony trioxide.
Antimony trioxide is the most performant flame retardant synergist in combination with halogens. It is also used as a solid state polycondensation catalyst for PET bottles and in pigment applications.
In addition to antimony trioxide, Campines Specialty Chemical Business offers a range of halogen containing and halogen free flame retardant masterbatches. They are effective in Electric and Electronic applications, in Building and construction and in Automotive applications. These masterbatches are a ready-to-use solution for all thermoplastic polymers that need a flame retardant performance.
In 2021, DLR Elastomer Engineering Ltd was formed following the successful acquisition and relocation of Elastomer Engineering Ltd into Dexine Leyland Rubber Technology Ltd (DLRT) at our Leyland Facility. DLRT was formed by the merger of Leyland Rubber Components and Dexine Rubber Technologies, both of which have 100+ years of history as rubber manufacturers.
We are proud to call ourselves experts in the design, development and manufacture of specialized polymer products.
Established in 1966, Elastomer Engineering was a UK based rubber molding company, delivering products in all commercially available rubbers and polyurethane products. As thermosetting elastomer manufacturers, we specialize in rubber-to-metal bonding and making parts from thermosetting rubbers.
Today, DLR Elastomer is a highly experienced and reliable rubber sheeting, fabrications and molding company with materials science and manufacturing expertise from many different fields, combining them to produce bespoke rubber products.
ThermHex Waben produces polypropylene (PP) honeycomb cores as core material for lightweight sandwich panels and components. We also offer semi-finished, laminated honeycomb panels with thermoplastic composite skins.
We offer our customers high quality honeycomb cores which help to produce better and more economic lightweight sandwich panels and parts for different applications. We support our customers to ever better meet requirements of weight reduction and a more efficient usage of natural resources. Thru weight reduction in structural parts of many products we can help to reduce our environmental impact and contribute to sustainability.
