HexPly® M9.6H is a hotmelt, thermosetting, low tack epoxy resin matrix, specifically designed for prepreg applications at which short cure cycles of 100°C and above are required. M9.6H can be used for manufacture of large industrial components, suitable for cure of thin and thick sections. M9.6H exhibits a long out-life at ambient conditions.

GMS Composites EP – 280 is a formulated epoxy resin matrix prepreg with long shelf life. The product has a versatile curing cycle from as low as 80°C or as high as 150°C, thus enabling the product to be used to produce a wide range of composite items, from large structures to numerous small components. EP-280 is available in a range of substrates such as carbon, glass or aramid. The product also has good dynamic strength properties as well as outstanding hot-wet resistance. The prepreg has good flow and the tack of EP-280 can be varied.

HexPly® 914 is a highly successful modified epoxy matrix which is used extensively in high temperature resistant primary aircraft structures. The controlled melt viscosity and excellent matrix rheology of HexPly® 914 permits a wide range of processing conditions for high quality components.

HexPly® M81 is a high performance tough epoxy matrix for use in industrial applications requiring good impact resistance and damage tolerance, such as the automotive industry. HexPly® M81 is based on the highly successful HexPly® 8552 toughened epoxy resin system, used widely around the world for the manufacture of aircraft structures. Non-aerospace customers now have the opportunity to benefit from the excellent performance of this resin system presented with reinforcements specially adapted for industrial markets.

AtenPly GPE35 are thin sheets of continuous reinforcement fibers impregnated with thermoplastic resin. It is made direct from the fiber roving and thermoplastic melt using proprietary technology developed by Jonam Composites Ltd. This cost-effective efficient process produces light weight, high-strength ,well impregnated, smooth tape with unidirectional fiber reinforcement.

MICAM CC40 0.1 is an epoxy-glass prepreg based on a medium weave glass fabric suitable for the manufacture of tubes and low pressure moldings.

Ecotechnilin L-FLAXPREG-T-UD-110-5m² is a unidirectional (UD) fibers - FLAXPREG T-UD 110.

33N is a flame retardant (UL94 V-O) polyimide laminate and prepreg system where the excellent high performance properties of polyimide need to be combined with flame retardance. High Tg (250°C) results in low overall z-axis expansion, and minimizes risk of latent PTH defects in-service.

SIMPREX® M655 is an advanced vinyl ester prepreg designed to provide a high performance-to-cost ratio. SIMPREX® M655 has a medium to high tack. It provides high adhesion to core materials such as Nomex® honeycomb, balsa and polyurethane foam. It is a great choice for many applications in the range of low to medium service temperature.

HexPly® 920 is a very tough advanced resin matrix, ideally suited to the single-shot production of honeycomb sandwich structures and the manufacture of solid laminates. It is highly tolerant of a variety of production techniques and equipment, making it easy to process. The high toughness of HexPly 920 makes it ideal for industrial applications and performance cars. It is available preimpregnated into carbon, glass or aramid fibers.

Resinoid 1371 is a glass reinforced, two-step phenolic molding compound offering good mechanical and electrical properties. This product has been specifically formulated for applications requiring prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures andresistance to thermal shocks.This material comes in pelletized from and is suitable for injection, transfer or compression molding. It can be preformed on automatic equipment.

AX-6180 is a Low FST/OSU Epoxy Unidirectional Prepreg.

AX-5605 is a modified Silica, Carbon Prepreg.

HexPly® 1454 is a self-extinguishing epoxy resin system with very high self adhesion properties. It has good handling and is tolerant of a wide range of processing conditions. HexPly® 1454 is ideal for the fabrication of honeycomb sandwich structures when high peel strength and good impact properties are required. HexPly® 1454 prepregs are only available with fabric reinforcements.

HexPly® M77CS is a fast curing hotmelt, thermosetting epoxy matrix, specifically designed for prepreg applications at which short cure cycles and clear surfaces are required. M77CS is recommended for curing at 120 – 150°C and is suitable for a range of pressures (5 – 35bar). M77CS can be used for manufacture of industrial components with a clear surface.

GMS Composites EP – 530 is a flame retardant epoxy resin matrix prepreg with long shelf life. The product has a versatile curing cycle from as low as 80°C or as high as 150°C, thus enabling the product to be used to produce a wide range of composite items, from large structures to numerous small components. EP-530 is available in a range of substrates such as carbon, glass or aramid. The product is self-extinguishing and meets the UL 94 V-0 classification. The flow and tack of EP-530 can also be varied.

Toray E750 is a toughened epoxy component prepreg developed for structural Applicationss within Formula 1 and high performance automotive. Toray E750 allows curing from 80°C (176°F) to 180°C (356°F) and can be impregnated into a range of fiber and fabric types.

HexPly® 250 is a phenolic matrix widely used in honeycomb sandwich components for aircraft interior furnishings. The low smoke and low toxicity properties of 250 during ignition meet the requirements of FAR 25 and ATS 1000. HexPly® 250 prepreg is available in fabric reinforcements and single tows.

APCM DA 4517 is an epoxy prepreg designed for a temperature range of -67°F (-55°C) to 350°F (177°C), with a cure of 180°F (82°C) for three hour. Shorter cures times are available at higher temperatures. The system is designed to be post cured if the higher temperature service range is required.

Toray E721-FR is a modified epoxy resin system of medium viscosity for cures at 120°C (248°F), pre-impregnated into high performance fibers such as carbon, glass, and aramid. Toray E721-FR offers excellent structural properties, flame retardancy, and exceptional toughness allowing direct lamination to honeycomb without the use of resin film. Toray E721-FR is designed for structural Applicationss in the motor racing, marine industries, and for a wide range of engineering Applicationss. If fire-retardant properties are not required, consult separate data sheet for Toray E720.

PRF Composite Materials RP802 is an epoxy tooling prepreg system capable of withstanding temperatures up to 190°C after full post cure. RP-802 is available in carbon and glass woven fabrics from 200 - 800 g/m2 impregnated with epoxy resin. RP-802 prepreg allows high quality tooling laminates to be produced directly from a low temperature master model permitting a wide choice of master model materials. Using a low temperature vacuum bag and autoclave process for inital cure, the tool laminate can then be demoulded for freestanding post cure.

Toray Toray AmberTool® HXR56 New is a low temperature curing epoxy composite tooling prepreg, fully impregnated into a carbon multiaxial backing ply construction. This two-layer product facilitates 3-D construction while allowing efficient lay-up, reducing overall tooling costs. HXR56 prepreg is co-compatible with our heritage AmberTool® HX56 carbon 205gsm 2x2 twill reinforcement surface ply. After a suitable post cure, an end use temperature of 180°C (356°F) is achieved. 40–55°C (104–131°F) Low Temperature Curing Epoxy Tooling Prepreg.

EPH301H is a high Tg, highly toughened, controlled flow epoxy prepreg system that can cure in as low as 5 minutes in-hot, out-hot via compression molding process or even shorter with post cure, and is designed for high volume, structural applications in automotive and other industrial markets. Evopreg® EPT120 tooling prepregs are designed to help composite tooling manufacturers improve the flexibility and efficiency of their tooling manufacturing operations, by providing a combination of extended out-life and flexible curing cycles. With an out-life of 21 days, Evopreg® EPT120 prepregs are ideally suited to the production of larger, more complex tools, or to the batch production of multiple tools, ahead of a single (e.g. Weekly) scheduled cure. For applications where rapid turnaround is critical, Evopreg® EPT120 prepregs can be fully cured in a single-shot ramped cure. The prepregs can be supplied with a range of reinforcement fibers and fabric constructions. They require low pressure autoclave processing for optimum surface finish and are suitable for a range of applications including automotive, motorsport, sporting goods and general industrial.

Unidirectional CARBON FIBER PRE-PREG TAPE may be stored at 72°F for 30 days and for maximum shelf life, store in a freezer and bring up to room temperature for fabrication.

Natex P-Preg PLA UD 800 is a powder-coated fabric woven from flax fibers that are pre-impregnated with thermoplastic resins. It comes as NATTEX® P-Preg, PolyLactic Acid with 1000 mm Width and pre-preg fabrics uni-directional in natural fibers with flax of 750 g/m2.

APCM DA 4518 E-Glass is a modified epoxy system coated on heavy weight unidirectional E-Glass fibers. This product is designed to build excellent unidirectional strength using a minimum number of plies. DA 4518/E-Glass Uni also features extended room temperature out time and service temperatures to 300°F.

Basaltex NV Basaltex BAS1101 is an impregnated basalt fabric designed as fire barrier in composites for public transport, aerospace, maritime, automotive as well as building and construction. Basalt fibers are extruded from 100% basalt volcanic rocks. They are characterized by outstanding mechanical properties combined with unique heat resistance. Basalt fibers are inert at high temperatures, will not soften like glass fibers, and retain their structure as barrier in a fire.

Toray C740 is a cyanate ester resin system for cures at 135°C (275°F), pre-impregnated into high performance fibers such as carbon, glass and aramid. The system is capable of withstanding very high temperatures and is inherently flame-retardant. After a suitable post cure the glass transition temperature can be increased to as high as 325°C (617°F).

Toray C640 is a cyanate ester resin system suitable for curing between 70°C (158°F) and 135°C (275°F). The medium viscosity resin is pre-impregnated into high-performance fibers such as carbon, glass and aramid. The system is capable of withstanding very high temperatures and is inherently flame-retardant. After a suitable post cure, the glass transition temperature can be increased to as high as 335°C (635°F).

HexPly® M77 is a fast curing hotmelt, thermosetting epoxy resin matrix, specifically designed for prepreg applications at which short cure cycles are required. M77 is recommended for curing at 120 – 150°C and is suitable for a range of pressures (5 – 35bar). M77 can be used for manufacture of large industrial components, suitable for cure of thin and thick sections.
