- Product Highlights
Glyceryl esters are 100% naturally derived from glycerol and fatty acids, making them readily biodegradable and environmentally friendly. The glycerol group can be esterified with one, two, or three fatty acids to form monoglycerides, diglycerides, and triglycerides. All components are derived from select natural fats and seed oils to provide the desired physical and performance properties.
Glyceryl esters are used as base stocks, lubricity additives and emulsifiers in industrial, automotive and metalworking applications. They are also widely used as plasticizers, antistats, antifogging agents and processing aids in plastic manufacturing, as well as dispersing aids, defoamers and emollients in personal care and cosmetic applications
