The product is indicated for sanitization processes, where a highly reliable disinfection agent is required, which at the same time does not generate by-products in its application, such as trihalome- thanes (THM). Processes such as CIP cleaning, water treatment for human consumption and industrial processes, effluent disinfection, and other applications where you want to reduce contamination levels can be addressed in the application of MultiTech Difunctional B. It is also highly used in the control of algal blooms as well as color and odor. In order to Chlorine Dioxide form, MultiTech Difunctional BⓇ must be diluted with water. The solution can be prepared in various concentration ranges, allowing for high customization in the process. For calculation purposes, just 2000 g of the powder mix diluted in 1000L of water produces a solution with about 3.500 ppm of Chlorine Dioxide (the solution is ready to use in less than 10 minutes).
- Instructions for Use
- Always read product labels and use the necessary safety equipment.
- Fill the container with water up to the indication of 1000 liters (or other desired volume).
- First add the MultiTech Difunctional B Activador, which is the bucket with a blue lid, stirring until the product is completely dissolved
- Immediately after diluting the Activator, add the MultiTech Difunctional B, which is the bucket with a red lid, stirring until the product is completely dissolved. During this process, there will be the formation of Chlorine Dioxide gas.
- Cover the tank with a lid equipped with a vent, wait for 10 minutes and start the application through a metering pump.
- Dosage rates should be the same as those found in laboratory tests. In case of doubt, contact a specialized technician from Sabará QuÃmicos e Ingredientes S/A.
