IAM

IAM A is a liquid cationic polymeric blend added to the wet end of a paper machine to enhance drainage and increase machine speed and production. Other benefits include improved machine performance related to wet-end additive efficiency, fiber/filler retention and dry strength development. This product can be added in addition to, or to optimize, a standard wet-end starch program.

IAM B is Hexamethyldisiloxane of high purity.

IAM Binder A is a cationic starch based on dent corn designed to be used as a wet-end additive in the papermaking process.

IAM Binder B is a low-molecular-weight cationic resin used for separating oil and water in refinery flotation units. It is also useful in clarifying latex waste and textile industry waste when combined with an anionic polymer. Additionally, the resin is effective in treating paper mill waste, and IAM Binder B holds a patent for it. A low-formaldehyde version of this product is also available.

IAM Catalyst is a catalyst used for ring opening polymerization of cyclic siloxanes. This product decomposes at more than 120°C with the release of trimethylamine. It is commonly used in polymer manufacturing.

IAM Cathode Material is a carbonyl-process pure nickel powder with filamentary morphology used in specialized powder metallurgical and battery applications.

IAM Cationic Surfactant is a emulsifier for cationic rapid and medium-setting bitumen emulsions suitable for chip seal (surface dressing), tack coat and open graded cold mix.

IAM Coagulant A is a highly effective cationic coagulant for use in industrial and municipal water and wastewater applications for the removal of turbidity, color, suspended solids and phosphorus. It should be stored and handled in suitable non-corrosive materials such as fiberglass, reinforced plastic, PTFE, PVC/CPVC, rubber lined steel or polyethylene.

IAM Coagulant B is a highly viscous liquid solution that consists of high- to very high-molecular-weight polymer components. This amino-methylated polyacrylamide is an effective tool in wastewater treatment. It functions as a coagulant aid for flocculants in clarification processes and as a drainage and retention aid in sludge dewatering processes.

IAM DiFunctional A is a pregelatinized corn starch, in the form of a white, free-flowing powder.

IAM DiFunctional B is a high modified non-ionic, water soluble cellulose ether. It improves the consistency and the water retention of gypsum and cement based plasters. IAM DiFunctional B is a modified high viscosity grade of ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose.

IAM MultiFunctional is a synthetic magnesium silicate adsorbent designed for deep purification of polyols which are generally used in the production of urethane polymers. Purification of polyols by adsorption using synthetic magnesium silicate is widely recognized as the most effective way to produce high quality polyols. Synthetic magnesium silicate is an amorphous material with high pore volume and active surface area. Due to the unique structure and surface chemistry, IAM MultiFunctional can selectively and very efficiently remove alkali metal catalysts, as well as other polar compounds from various polyols and surfactants. High adsorptivity and excellent filtration characteristics permit these adsorbents to be easily used in industrial conditions.
