WILLAMETTE VALLEY HOPS COMET

COMET is a variety with relatively high alpha acids content and provides a "Wild American" aroma. It was released as a high alpha hop from the USDA hop breeding program in 1975 primarily for production in Washington and Idaho. The variety is susceptible to downy mildew but resistant to verticillium wilt.
