• LIOSIL® FC 204 E is combined with conventional fabric softeners and improves their properties.
• LIOSIL® FC 204 E is easy to mix with fabric softeners. It improves their softening efficacy, making the fabrics significantly softer and more pleasant to the touch.
• Additionally, LIOSIL® FC 204 E reduces the frictional forces of the iron, thereby making the fabrics significantly easier to iron.

Processing

LIOSIL® FC 204 E is preferably mixed well with the softener agent at the start of fabric softener its production. Example of fabric softener preparation with LIOSIL® FC 204 E:

• To 20.0 parts esterquat, e.g. Stepantex VK 90 (50°C)
• Add 4 parts LIOSIL® FC 204 E and mix well
• Slowly add 75.6 parts demineralized water (50°C) with stirring until the mixture is homogenous
• Add 0.4 parts CaCl₂ solution (25%)
• Add q.s. perfume, dye and preservative

Dosage recommendation: Approx. 3 - 6 % in the fabric softener formulation; The dosage of LIOSIL® FC 204 E in the fabric softener depends on the desired effects. If preferred, the quantity of organic softener can be reduced as the amount of LIOSIL® FC 204 E is increased.
