BELSILĀ® TMS 803

BELSILĀ® TMS 803 is a co-hydrolysis product derived from tetraalkoxysilane (Q unit) and trimethylethoxysilane (M unit). Its chemical structure forms a three-dimensional network of polysilic acid units, which are endblocked with trimethylsilyl groups. There are residual ethoxy and hydroxy functionalities present. This product is a white powder manufactured to be substantially free of aromatic solvents like toluene. With its low content of fine dust particles and uniform particle size, BELSILĀ® TMS 803 demonstrates excellent rheological properties, particularly in terms of flowability. It can be blended with polydimethylsiloxanes for compounding purposes.
