ELASTOSIL® M silicone rubber has been the ideal solution for the production of molds that are highly elastic and have excellent release properties and optimum durability. These invaluable processing properties make ELASTOSIL® M indispensable, to both industrial and artisan mold makers.

ELASTOSIL® M

SILFAR® is the name of WACKER’s range of silicone-based products specifically intended for the pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as for use in fermentation and other biotech processes. SILFAR® products feature outstanding chemical resistance. They are not resorbed in the digestive tract, and are therefore not metabolized. They are colorless and odorless.

WACKER’s CAVAQ10® is a highly bioavailable coenzyme Q10 powder. This fat-soluble, vitamin-like substance is a known antioxidant. Coenzyme Q10 has been associated with improved cardiovascular health and supporting optimum fuctioning of the cardiac muscle. However, many commercial products do not offer adequate bioavailability. WACKER’s cyclodextrin-encapsulated CAVAQ10® powder, by contrast, has an 18-fold higher bioavailability compared to other CoQ10 products.

CAVAMAX® is the trade name for cyclodextrins from WACKER. We are the only company in the world to manufacture all three naturally occurring cyclodextrins – α, β and γ (CAVAMAX® W6, W7 and W8). CAVAMAX® cyclodextrins have unique properties resulting in a wide range of functionalities, such as stabilization, rheology control, masking of bitterness or increasing bioavailability and much more. This paves the way for innovative food, pharma and industrial applications.

BELSIL® is an extensive range of premium-grade silicones intended specifically for personal care applications, and more especially for hair care, skin care, color cosmetics, and deodorants. BELSIL® products are developed and manufactured in the highest quality and with utmost care, ensuring that the formulations are highly efficient and reliable. With BELSIL®, you can tailor your hair-care or skin-care formulations or color cosmetics to obtain end products that are not only competitive but also meet the needs of the market.

CAVACURMIN® is a highly bioavailable curcumin complex that is around 40 times more efficiently absorbed than standard turmeric extract. The complexation with the naturally occurring oligasaccharide gamma-cyclodextrin results in a free-flowing, easily dispersible powder.

ELASTOSIL® LR 3003/60 A/B is a liquid silicone rubber of the ELASTOSIL® LR 3003 series. It is a paste-like, easily pigmentable, two-component compound with short curing times. The vulcanizates of this product are renowned for their high transparency as well as their exceptional mechanical and electrical properties.

SILPURAN® 6000/10 A/B is a paste-like, easily pigmentable two-component compound with short curing times. Its vulcanizates are noted for their high transparency and excellent mechanical and electrical properties. SILPURAN® 6000/10 A/B is designed for medical applications in compliance with Wacker Silicones' health care policy. Please note that this material has use restrictions according to Wacker Silicone's health care policy. In particular, contact with body tissue or blood is not permitted.

BELSIL® eco DM 5 is an unmodified, linear polydimethylsiloxane derived from renewable raw materials, certified according to the "TÜV NORD Standard REDcert²." This product features low surface tension and a high spreading coefficient. The flexible polymer backbone of dimethicones enables excellent gas permeability, allowing the skin to breathe by facilitating the passage of gasses such as water vapor and oxygen.

BELSIL® PF 100 is an aryl- and alkyl-modified silicone fluid of medium viscosity. BELSIL® PF 100 is characterized by having a higher refractive index than standard dimethicone fluids (1.38-1.40). It offers significant improvements in regards to gloss and shine. BELSIL® PF 100 is used in all kinds of cosmetic formulations, but mostly in hair care compositions and color cosmetics due to its shine-enhancing benefits.

HDK® H20 is a synthetic, hydrophobic, amorphous silica produced via flame hydrolysis. It is a white colloidal powder of high purity. HDK® H20 is used as a thickening and thixotropic agent in coatings, printing inks, adhesives, cosmetics, and other applications. It also serves as a reinforcing filler in elastomers, particularly silicone-elastomers. Additionally, HDK® H20 acts as a free flow additive in the production of powder coatings.

POWERSIL® N 552 White is a one-component silicone dispersion that cures to form a tough high-voltage insulator coating with excellent electrical properties. It offers very good resistance to weathering and outstanding tracking resistance, ensuring its performance in various environmental conditions. Additionally, POWERSIL® N 552 White forms a long-term hydrophobic surface, effectively preventing the formation of wet conductive films and minimizing the risk of pollution flashovers.

VINNAPAS® eco CA 5880 is a sustainable solution that promotes the conservation of fossil resources by enabling the substitution of fossil-based raw materials with certified sustainable renewable feedstock. This substitution process adheres to the REDcert² mass balance approach and is independently audited by a third party. The precise amount of fossil raw material replaced varies depending on the specific product version and is documented in the corresponding certificate.

VINNAPAS® EN 428 is a self-crosslinking, plasticizer-free, aqueous polymer dispersion based on vinyl acetate and ethylene monomers. It offers a unique combination of softness, high wet strength, and versatile formulation options. The film formed by VINNAPAS® EN 428 has a soft texture, making it an excellent choice as a binder for personal hygiene nonwovens. Additionally, it can be used as a coating and finishing agent for woven and knitted textiles, providing enhanced properties and performance.

ELASTOSIL® Color Paste FL Ivory RAL 090 80 30 is a ready-to-use masterbatch that contains specific pigments and reactive silicone polymers. It is commonly used for producing ELASTOSIL® liquid silicone rubber. This color paste enables homogeneous covulcanization without significantly affecting the physical properties, such as hardness, and without the risk of migration often seen in systems based on silicone oil.
