- Deobiome Noni™ is an active which is an innovative prebiotic deodorant treatment, a cosmetic ingredient that reduces the generation of body odor while allowing the skin to breathe and respecting the skin microbiota.
- The concept of Biological Deodorant is defined by a hybrid approach based on two strategies. On the one hand, a Biological strategy: plant anti-Quorum Sensing molecules that prevent the formation of bacterial communication and unwanted biofilms involved in generating bad smell. On the other hand, a Prebiotic strategy: Deobiome Noni™ represents an innovative prebiotic cocktail based on sugars that modifies the metabolism of commensal microbiota of the skin from lipids to polysaccharides, avoiding the production of malodorous molecules.
- Deobiome Noni™ is made from plant stem cells of Morinda citifrolia, known as the Noni plant, a native species from Southeast Asia (Indonesia) and Australia.
- With more than 150 actives described, the Noni plant is used in more than 40 types of ailments worldwide, antitumor, anthelminthic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory, immuno-stimulant, several skin diseases, urinary tract disorders, fever, etc.
- Deobiome Noni™ is a suspension containing Morinda citrifolia stem cells lysate enriched in maltodextrin solved in glycerine.
- This is a natural product, so color or transparency may evolve slightly after production without affecting its properties. After some time, a precipitate appears. Being the product a suspension of cells in a liquid medium, this is completely normal and can be solved by shaking well before use.
- Terpenoids was identified in the product using IOCQ1022 method.
- It has benefits that include odor modulation, microbiome protection, microbial load control, clean beauty, skin health and detoxification.
- Depending on the type of formulation, at a pH lower than 7.5 the product may give a slight pale-yellow color to the formulation, and a slight pale purple color at a pH higher than 7.5.
