Vitadrench, an effective booster after calving:
Calving is physically draining for cows. Vitadrench accompanies you during this step by acting as an efficient booster. Its specially adapted formulation allows for vital rehydration after the fluid losses that occur during parturition (water, electrolytes, etc.) but it is also used to
- Reduce hypocalcaemia, placental retention and metritis.
- Reduce cases of displaced abomasum and ketosis.
- Restore Ca, K and glucose levels in the blood.
- Reduce mammary swelling (oedema) and mastitis.
- Increase ingestion during the first days after calving.
- Stimulate rumen activity.
For sick or recovering cows:
Vitadrench is also used as a booster for sick cows or sluggish cows. Regardless of the stage of lactation or the pathology (mastitis, metritis, ketosis, post abomasum surgery, diarrhea, etc.) Vitadrench stimulates the rumen and helps prevent anorexia.
- Recommendations For Use
- Vitadrench is diluted in hot water (35 - 40°C)
- Vitadrench is administered using a drenching pump or by letting the cow drink as much as she wants if given immediately after calving. It is possible to drench the cow again 24 hours later.
- Vitalac proposes Drench mate, the ideal tool for dispensing Vitadrench.
- It is recommended to add liquid Glycocine into the mixture for better ketosis prevention.
