Vinkocide® KN-K

Vinkocide® KN-K features a formulation combining 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3(2H)-one (BIT) with Pyridine-2-thiol 1-oxide, sodium salt (NaPT), offering excellent preservation properties. It demonstrates broad-spectrum antimicrobial action against bacteria, fungi, and yeasts, making it effective in aqueous and water-miscible systems. With superior chemical stability and long-term efficacy, it surpasses in challenging conditions where other products may falter. Compatible with various raw materials, it maintains clarity as a clear, aqueous solution. It remains stable at pH levels up to 13 and temperatures up to 90°C, ensuring reliable preservation. However, caution is advised regarding potential discoloration in the presence of high levels of heavy metals. It finds application in preserving manufactured products during storage and in working or cutting fluid preservation.
