Vinkocide® ECO 35

Vinkocide® ECO 35 is a formulation of 5-chloro-2-methyl-isothiazol-3-one (CMIT), 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (MIT), and formaldehyde. It penetrates microorganism cells, disrupting vital functions to prevent microbial adaptation. With a broad antimicrobial spectrum, it effectively combats bacteria, fungi, and yeasts, including Gram-negative bacteria. Suitable for aqueous systems, it provides cost-effective preservation with rapid action. Additionally, its formaldehyde content offers headspace protection in can preservation. Compatible with most products, it ensures excellent long-term efficacy and is ideal for various industrial applications such as liquid-cooling systems and slime control.

  • Preservatives for products during storage: Products used for the preservation of manufactured products, other than foodstuffs, feedingstuffs, cosmetics or medicinal products or medical devices by the control of microbial deterioration to ensure their shelf life. Products used as preservatives for the storage or use of rodenticide, insecticide or other baits.
