Vinkocide® CMIF N 20

Vinkocide® CMIF N 20 is a monovalent stabilized formulation containing a mixture of 5-Chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (CIT) and 2-Methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (MIT), along with Tetrahydro-1,3,4.6-tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)imidazo[4,5-d] (TMAD). This composition effectively disrupts microbial cell function, preventing microbial adaptation. It is suitable for use in aqueous and water-miscible systems, offering a broad antimicrobial spectrum against bacteria, fungi, and yeasts. Vinkocide® CMIF-N 20 is particularly effective against Gram-negative bacteria and is often successful where other preservatives fail. It provides good headspace protection and combines excellent long-term efficacy with the rapid mode of action of CIT/MIT. Additionally, it is cost-effective due to its low usage levels. Vinkocide® CMIF-N 20 is ideal for various preservation applications, including products during storage, liquid-cooling systems, slimicides, and working or cutting fluid preservatives.
