ECO BLACK™ EB 540 is a solid black powder material, featuring high structure and porosity, and high carbon content. Useful in its primary state as filler for rubber articles, pigment in paints and solid fuel. Originated from discarded tires treated by pyrolysis, in an exhaustively controlled process to obtain the best quality particulate material. This material presents productive improvements due to its low cost and environmental commitment.

It is recommended for use in thermo-fixed elastomers with low polarity (NR, SBR, IIR, EPDM, BR) as a partial replacement for carbon blacks commercial semireinforcing (N550 and N660).

The inorganic content does not have a significant effect on processing. It is similar in features to Carbon Black N660
