USI Chemical Silane USi-2312

Silane USi-2312 can be used in much the same way as other organofunctionalalkoxy silanes. It can be used as a primer for inorganic surfaces. Aqueous solutions can be prepared by adding the silane to acidified water and stirring. It is possible to treat glass fibers, mineral fillers, metallic surfaces and similar “inorganic” materials using a variety of application techniques. After applying the silane to the surface, the treated surface should be dried to promote a good level of reaction with the surface. Optimum application level, application method and curing conditions will vary and should be determined for each use before implementation in a commercial process.
