U.K. Abrasives Hexagonal Boron Nitride Powder (PG) has a structure and properties similar to graphite. It has become one of the most popular dry lubricants due to its lubricating properties and inertness to molten metals and salts. It is used in many different applications, especially as a mold release agent. Hexagonal Structure Boron Nitride improves the strength and holdability of the present powder composites.

U.K. Abrasives Boron Carbide RG (Refractory) is a high performance abrasive material with chemical and physical properties similar to diamonds, such as, chemical resistance and hardness. Boron carbide’s extra hardness gives it the nickname “Black Diamond” (It ranks third after diamond and boron nitride) and is one of the leading grinding materials.

U.K. Abrasives Boron Carbide AG (Abrasive) is a high performance abrasive material with chemical and physical properties similar to diamonds, such as, chemical resistance and hardness. Boron carbide’s extra hardness gives it the nickname “Black Diamond” (It ranks third after diamond and boron nitride) and is one of the leading grinding materials.

U.K. Abrasives Boron Carbide AG (Abrasive)

U.K. Abrasives BNBL-FG uses Hexagonal Boron Nitride powder as a key ingredient. These lubricants contain fine particles of Boron Nitride powder, blended with a binder. After application and proper curing, they become bonded to the metal surface and form a white or light gray solid film. UKA’s dry film lubricants also contain special rust inhibitors which offer exceptional corrosion protection. Most long wearing films are of the bonded type but are still restricted to applications where sliding distances are not too long, such as internal combustion engines, bearings, etc.

U.K. Abrasives Boron Carbide NG (Nuclear)

U.K. Abrasives Wurtzite Boron Nitride Powder (Standard Grade) is a new superabrasive material that is manufactured by detonation. It is the next step in the boron nitride generation which includes a well-known superabrasive - cubic boron nitride, as well as, a graphite similar in structure - hexagonal boron nitride. This new material has a polycrystalline structure that provides superior cutting properties and, moreover, sharpens itself during cutting. Polycrystalline structure means plenty of crystals are bonded chemically together that work at the same time. In this case the material removal rate and finishing level of the Wurtzite Boron Nitride cannot be compared to even the cutting characteristics of other well-known materials.
