DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Pre-Weaned Pig
- Day 2-8 Post Farrowing: Mix 5 ounces (2/3 cup, 150 mL) per gallon (3.8 L) of water to form an iso-osmotic solution.
Weaned Pig
- Drinking Water: Mix 2 lbs (0.9 kg) or 40 ounces (5 cups, 1.19 L) per gallon of water to form a stock solution. Provide the stock solution through the proportioner set at the rate of 1:128 for 2 days post-weaning. Mix only enough stock solution for 1-day use.
- Gruel: Mix 5 ounces (2/3 cup, 150 mL) per 1 gallon of water to form an iso-osmotic solution.
Post-Weaning Pig
- Gruel: Mix 5 ounces (2/3 cup, 150 mL) per 1 gallon (3.8 L) of water to form an iso-osmotic solution. Mix in to create a gruel mixture with consistency of pancake batter. Feed gruel mixture in troughs at the rate of 1 gallon per 25 pigs. Adjust gruel amount as needed so all is consumed in 30 minutes.
- Gradually decrease amount of Pro2Lyte in gruel until transition to dry feed.
- Top Dress: Top dress 6 ounces (3/4 cup, 178 mL) per 25 pigs on the starter feed in the feed trough twice a day during the first 48 hours after weaning.
