POLYSYN RS 3030

Polysyn RS 3030 is an unsaturated polyester resin designed for the manufacture of glass fiber reinforced translucent or pigmented roof sheets by hand lay-up or continuous sheeting processes. RS 3030 incorporates an acrylic monomer and conforms to industry standard UPR systems for this application. Supplied at 60-64 solid contents and a viscosity of 3-5 poises, RS 3030 has been specifically formulated to provide excellent durability when utilized with the correct grades of fiberglass Matt and/or surface barrier films. Has excellent transparency and durability on fiber glass matt or surface barrier film. It is characterized by Excellent UV resistance & absorption. Cure Characteristics are determined on a 100-gram sample stabilized at 25 degrees Celsius and catalyzed with 2% m/m of 50% Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide (MEKP).
