ProAct® Foliar Spray

ProAct® Foliar Spray stimulates the natural growth and defense systems of crops, enhancing overall plant health. Healthier plants exhibit increased plant stamina and vigor, leading to one or more of the following benefits: suppression of nematode egg production, increased marketable yield, and enhanced quality. ProAct is a new tool for use in Integrated Crop Management (ICM). Product efficacy is based on its ability to activate the plant’s own internal defense and growth mechanisms. ProAct works best when used in conjunction with good crop management practices. ProAct can be used to suppress nematode egg production while improving plant and root growth. ProAct offers a different mode of action for nematode suppression. Use of a labeled preplant application of a soil fumigant, contact nematicide, or nematicidal seed treatment is typically needed for nematode suppression in most crops. Apply ProAct for supplemental suppression of nematode egg production.

PROACT EFFECT ON HAY QUALITY: ProAct showed no dilution of hay quality, and multiple applications increased RFV by 9% in addition to increasing crude protein and available protein.

PROACT NEMATODE DEFENSE: ProAct also offers a different mode of action for nematode suppression, interfering with the nematode lifecycle and reducing nematode eggs and
juvenile populations as much as 60%. This contributes to a healthier and more productive plant.

PLANT HEALTH EFFECT & DISEASE DEFENSE: ProAct has well-documented reputation for improving overall plant health. These benefits include improved root growth, disease suppression, andincreasing plants’ stress tolerance and photosynthetic activity. ProAct can greatly improveplant resistance to disease, and can be used to compliment an existing disease control program.

Unlike standard materials, ProAct’s performance is not a function of plant absorption or residual. In fact, there will be no detectable residue of ProAct remaining within hours of application. ProAct is EPA exempt from food tolerance and can be used on export hay.
