The fast-to-deploy product releases a precise, consistent amount of CM sex pheromone throughout the orchard, reducing adult males’ ability to find females. This disrupts the mating cycle and suppresses pest populations.
CheckMate® Puffer® CM-O Pro is compatible with all integrated pest management (IPM) tools and can be especially effective when combined with other Suterra® products such as CheckMate® CM XL 2.0 Dispenser and CheckMate® CM 2.0 Flowable. The product is also suitable for organic production.
Suterra gives every grower our Clean Orchard Promise™ that no materials remain in the fields. We will recycle the spent aerosol cans, batteries, and plastic unit at no cost to the grower. We’ll even pick up and recycle our competitors’ aerosol products for new customers.
Suterra formulates and synthesizes pheromone ourselves in our state-of-the-art facility in Bend, Oregon. To ensure season-long quality and reliability, we never outsource the canning of the aerosol formulation. This attention to quality control and continuous improvement has led to Puffer® becoming the standard for NOW mating disruption in California.
All of Suterra’s mating disruption products are harmless to all other living organisms and beneficial insects.
