This continuous high-temperature process exposes flake graphite to extremely high temperatures so that impurities, including inorganic contaminants, are sublimed. 2939 is a fine size grade, relatively denser than the equivalent APH grade of the 'Thermally Purified Flake' product line produced using Superior Graphite’s dedicated milling and screening technology. Main uses are increase in thermal & electrical conductivity, coatings, coefficient of friction reduction, and wear reduction in high demanding applications.

Superior Graphite 2939APH is a purified flake product manufactured using Superior Graphite’s proprietary electro-thermal purification technology. This continuous high-temperature process exposes flake graphite to extremely high temperatures so that impurities, including inorganic contaminants, are sublimed. 2939APH is the fine size grade of the 'Thermally Purified Flake' product line produced using Superior Graphite’s dedicated milling and screening technology. Main uses are coefficient of friction reduction, wear reduction, coatings and as a relatively inexpensive battery material performance additive.

Superior Graphite RGC39A is a partially graphitized carbon product manufactured using Superior Graphite’s proprietary electro-thermal purification technology. RGC’s higher porosity plays a major role in important properties, such as resiliency, sound dampening, wear rate and friction reduction, heat dissipation, shock wave mitigation and others. Best suited applications are tribology and thermal conductivity in thermoplastics, especially in high temperature polymers. Porous structure also provides better compatibility with polymeric chains during compounding. In addition, free-flowing non-fluffy nature makes RGC39A easier to handle.
