AMMONYX® is an amphoteric surfactant finding application in personal care, HI&I applications as foam enhancers, viscosity builders and as emulsifiers and lubricants in textile applications.

Our butyl-based TOXIMUL® series are multifunctional polymeric surfactants that are excellent emulsifiers in oil-based systems and come in a range of high ethylene oxide (EO) content. Our product line of low pour point materials has been developed with a range of hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) values, EO content and water solubility to enable formulators to find solutions for even the most challenging formulations.

STEPAN-MILD® is an mild surfactant blend with good foam quality and viscosity building. It is used for baby products, shampoos, bubble baths, liquid hand soaps, shower gels and bath products.

STEPANATE® SCS-40 is a versatile solubilizer, coupling agent, and cloud point depressant that is applicable in heavy-duty cleaners, wax strippers, dishwashing detergents, and the oil field and metalworking sectors. Holding kosher certification, it serves the home care, industrial products, and institutional and industrial cleaning markets.

STEPOSOL® MET-10U is a unique unsaturated di-substituted amide crafted from renewable sources through nobel prize-winning metathesis technology. With attributes like rapid soil-penetrating kinetics, excellent solvency, heat and hydrolytic stability, and low voc content, it finds its place in various applications, including agriculture and coatings.

This cationic surfactant paste is applicable in household and industrial cleaners and finds a diverse range of applications, including metal cleaning and polishing compounds, cutting oils, textile auxiliaries, leather conditioners, water repellents, shoe polishes, emulsifiers, paper treatment, and clays.

AMMONYX® LO is a lauramine oxide that finds applications in personal care, hi&amp;i applications as foam enhancers, viscosity builders, and as emulsifiers and lubricants in textile applications. It offers long-lasting foam. This product meets the u.S. Epa safer choice program's surfactant screen and is listed on cleangredients.

STEPANTEX® VT-90 is a diester fabric softener quaternary, providing excellent softening, cold water dispersibility, and good rewetting properties. This cationic surfactant paste can be used to produce up to 25% solid dispersions in household and industrial fabric softeners. The product is biobased.

NACCONOL® 90G is a high-active sodium salt of linear alkylbenzene sulfonic acid, renowned for its high foaming, fast wetting, and emulsification attributes. It finds use in cleaning formulations where foam is desirable and is versatile enough to be used in high-active, powder formulations, as well as construction products like concrete admixtures, firefighting foams, and dust control additives.

STEPOSOL® CITRI-MET presents a solution composed of steposol® met-10u, citrus terpenes, and emulsifiers, surpassing petroleum-based solvents in cleaning and solvency with minimal voc content and a bio-based source. It's applicable to various cleaner types, from home-market multi-surface cleaners to industrial cleaners.

STEPOSOL® CITRI-MET

STEPANTEX® DC 90 is a diester fabric softener quaternary that offers commendable softening, antistatic, and rewetting properties. As a liquid cationic surfactant, it is particularly well-suited for creating formulations of fabric softeners intended for both household and industrial use. It falls within the chemical group of dialkyl quaternary esters and functions as a textile antistatic agent. Notably, this product is kosher-certified, can be cold-mixed, and does not necessitate heating during the formulation process.

ZELEC® P 312 functions as a flotation collector specifically developed for carbonated phosphate ore. It belongs to the category of surfactants and finds application in the mining sector. It is positioned within the industrial products market and falls under the chemical group of alcohol phosphates.

ZELEC® TY is a neutralized alcohol phosphate that offers efficient antistatic properties for polyolefin fibers, plastics, films, and carpet applications. It lowers electrical resistivity, particularly in environments with higher moisture content. It serves as a wetting and antistatic agent, particularly when water repellency properties are desired. It can be used in conjunction with fluorochemical water-repellent products.

ZELEC® TY

ZELEC® 874 is an ester that finds utility in a diverse range of metalworking and textile applications. Notably, the product is biodegradable. Furthermore, zelec 874 can be regarded as practically non-toxic when ingested (ld50 &gt; 5g/kg) and shows minimal irritation potential to the skin and eyes. It belongs to the chemical group of pentaerythritol ester specialty. Its primary function revolves around being a textile lubricating agent.

ZELEC® 887 is a thermally stable lubricant base suitable for textile and metalworking applications. This trimethylolpropane tricaprylate caprate polyol ester provides high and low-temperature performance characteristics and is biodegradable, serving construction and industrial product markets in metal treatment, metal working applications, plastic lubricants, and textile applications.

ZELEC® 887

ZELEC® AN is an amine neutralized phosphate ester used in a variety of industrial composite product applications. It is an amine neutralized version of zelec un. Zelec an maintains the same mold release characteristics as zelec un (see below), but with reduced acidity. The reduced acidity of zelec an allows for reduced die corrosion in closed molded thermoset applications.

ZELEC® AN

ZELEC® NE is a neutralized alcohol phosphate used in the pultrusion manufacturing process and is a highly effective antistatic for textiles, plastics, and films. It is effective in polyester resin molding operations that require external heat, such as matched metal dies, compression, and pultrusion. They are not generally successful at room temperature curing, such as hand lay-up or gel coat. This may be due to reactions with the metallic soaps used as accelerators in the operations, thus inhibiting the cure. Operations can be modified to use zelec products by eliminating these accelerators.

ZELEC® NE

ZELEC® A081 is an alcohol phosphate that can be used to help decrease the viscosity of high-pressure compounds. It can also be used to reduce and stabilize viscosity and act as a color stabilizer in rubber. It also plays the role of a lubricant additive for plastic materials and provides antistatic properties in fiber lubricating oils. It can also be used as a spreading agent for oils and waxes and as an internal demolding agent for molding plastic and pultrusion. It is an additive that inhibits deposits of a corrosive nature during the soldering of light metals (aluminum and magnesium) and can be used in construction as a concrete additive. It is also used as a dispersing agent in ink formulations.

ZELEC® A081

ZELEC® A130 can be used as a wetting agent in the paint and coating industries. In this application, it could also contribute to the improvement of corrosion resistance, gloss, color acceptance, wet scrub resistance, and the hiding power of the film. It can also be used as an antistatic agent in textile and leather finishing and processing and in rubber, plastic, and composite processing. It can also act as an emulsifier and corrosion inhibitor in metalworking fluid, printing pressrooms, and oil fields. It can also be used as a demolding agent in a construction area and in rubber, plastic, or composite processing. It also has lubrication properties for metalworking fluids and textile and leather finishing and processing, including extreme-pressure and anti-wear properties.

ZELEC® UN is a powerful agent that combines antistatic properties with mold release capabilities. Its use spans metalworking, textile applications, and pultrusion molding. In metalworking, it aids in polyester resin molding operations involving external heat, like matched metal die, compression, and pultrusion processes.
