STEPOSOL SC to be slightly to practically non-toxic orally (oral LD₅₀ = 2500 to 5000 mg/kg). Product may cause skin/eye irritation.

- Storage & Handling
- Normal safety precautions (i.e. gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling STEPOSOL SC. Contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling this material. Rags soaked with any solvent can present a fire hazard and should be stored in UL listed or Factory Mutualapproved covered containers. Improperly stored rags, under certain conditions can lead to spontaneous combustion.
- Recommended Drum Storage: STEPOSOL SC should be stored in sealed containers at a temperature between 50-122F (10-50C). Product temperatures over 130F (54C) are not recommended.
- Recommended Bulk Storage: STEPOSOL SC can be stored in vessels of carbon steel, but 316 or 304 stainless steel is preferred. Tanks should be closed with venting through a gooseneck vent. Pumps, pipes, and transfer lines can be carbon steel, but 316 or 304 stainless is preferred. Rubber hoses are not recommended for extended use. Material should be stored between 50-122F (10-50C). Product temperatures over 130F (54C) are not recommended.
