STEPANBLEND® ASF is a 39% solids surfactant blend designed for mild cleansing formulations. This blend is expected to be free from sulfated surfactants, Ethylene Oxide (EO), and preservatives. STEPANBLEND® ASF exhibits an ample foam volume and an efficient viscosity response to salt. This blend concentrate offers all the benefits of surfactant blends such as cold mixability and ease of handling for transport, storage and mixing considerations. STEPANBLEND® ASF may be used in liquid cleansing applications such as shampoos, liquid hand soaps, facial washes, body washes, and other bath products.

- Safety Precautions
- Normal safety precautions (e.g., gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling STEPANBLEND® ASF. Contact with eyes, nose or prolonged contact with skin should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling STEPANBLEND® ASF.
- STEPANBLEND® ASF is a viscous liquid, mild heat (40°C - 50°C / 104°F -122°F) can help to obtain a pumpable product.
- Workplace Exposure
Occupational exposure can occur primarily through skin contact or via inhalation of vapors and mists. Engineering controls, personal protective equipment, and other workplace safety practices should be used to control these exposures.

- Storage and Handling Conditions
Non-Bulk Storage Recommendations: STEPANBLEND® ASF should be stored in closed containers and kept in a cool, dry place away from incompatible materials (see Section 10 of the SDS). STEPANBLEND® ASF may appear hazy or show phase separation if the product has been exposed to cold temperature along the supply chain. When crystallization occurs during storage, it is necessary to warm the drums up to 45°C-50°C (113°F-122°F) under stirring to re-homogenize it before use.
