STEPAN MWA-310 is a phosphate ester and can be used as an emulsifier and extreme pressure agent in synthetic and semi-synthetic metalworking fluids. It can be used as a component of lubricants, gear and chain oils, metalworking fluids, hydraulic fluids, and plasticizers. STEPAN MWA-310 is soluble in water and slightly soluble in oil, yielding very low surface tension and critical micelle values (CMC) values.

Normal safety precautions (i.e., gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling STEPAN MWA-310. STEPAN MWA-310 is corrosive, contact with eyes and skin should be avoided. STEPAN MWA-310 should be stored in a cool, dry place in closed containers. See SDS for more information.
