STEOL KA-460 is a modified lauryl ethoxy sulfate which eliminates the preliminary gelling stage frequently encountered on dilution of regular ethoxy sulfates. STEOL KA-460 has excellent wetting, foaming and detergency properties in hard and soft water. Its compatibility with other anionics, nonionics, and alkaline builders permits great versatility in formulating. STEOL KA-460 offers excellent flash foaming and grease cutting properties and can be used in liquid detergent, carwash, textile detergents and industrial foaming applications.

Normal safety precautions (i.e. gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling STEOL KA-460. Contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling material. It is recommended that STEOL KA-460 be stored in sealed containers and kept in a cool, well ventilated area away from fire and open flames. Avoid overheating or freezing. If material is frozen, mild heat and agitation are recommended to ensure the material is homogeneous before use.
