MAKON TD-50 is an emulsifier and emulsifier blend component for pesticide formulations. It can be used as an HLB variable in most formulations and shows good emulsification properties over a wide HLB range.

- Normal safety precautions (i.e. gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling MAKON TD-50. Contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided.
- Bulk Storage Information: It is recommended that MAKON TD-50 be stored in stainless steel and glass fiberreinforced polyester tanks. Many oven-cured phenolic and epoxy/phenolic linings may also be used. Elevated storage temperature may be desirable to maintain ease of pumping. Temperatures up to 130°F (54°C) can be maintained for long periods of time without degradation of the product.
- MAKON TD-50 is a solid at temperatures below 85F (29C). It may be fluidized by warming with a drum heater or in a steam room. Drums should be vented during heating to avoid excessive pressure build up. Product temperatures over 130°F (54°C) are not recommended.
