This cationic surfactant paste can be used to produce up to 25% solid dispersions in household and industrial fabric softeners. The product is biobased.

This biocidal active is associated with u.S. Epa-registered end-use formulations that meet the criteria for applications against emerging viral pathogens and therefore may be considered for use as hard surface disinfectants against sars-cov-2, the virus that causes covid-19. These end-use products containing btc 2125m can include a defined efficacy statement off-label in technical literature, non-label-related websites, consumer information services, and social media sites, in accordance with the u.S. Epa’s policy. Detergent disinfectant pump spray, containing btc 2125m, has also received approval for the sars-cov-2 efficacy claim. Subregistrants will now be able to make approved on-label covid-19-related claims on epa reg. No. 1839-83. The product is kosher-certified.

ONYXIDE® 3300 is a registered biocide with a unique saccharinate counterion, distinguishing it from conventional n-alkyl dimethylbenzyl ammonium chloride (adbac). While it has limited water solubility (&lt;0.01%), larger quantities can be solubilized by adding other surfactants or certain solvents (alcohols, glycols, or glycol ethers). It offers an alternative to traditional biocides with chloride counterions, thereby mitigating the severe metal corrosivity linked to them.
