This means that measures must be taken to increase their safety in applications where there is the risk of fire
- Often the most cost-effective method of doing this is to add a flame-retardant additive during processing, as it can prevent ignition or spreading of flame in plastic material and are added to plastics to meet these requirements.
- Thus, using these additives can save lives, prevent injuries and property losses, and protect the environment through fire prevention and limiting of fire damage.
- We offer two types of Flame retardant masterbatches to meet V0, V2 rating of UL – Halogen-free, with Halogen.
