- Product Highlights
- SMA’RT Shea Butter is obtained from the African shea tree, Vitellaria paradoxa. It has an ivory, creamy color and contains a slightly nutty aroma. SMA’RT Shea Butter is soft, pliable, and melts on the skin. The butter is rich in several saturated fatty acids including oleic acid, stearic acid, linoleic acid, arachidic acid and palmitic acid.
- The caffeic acid in SMA’RT Shea Butter provides slight UV protection and enhances sunscreen products. Shea butter has significant levels of vitamins E and A, which adds to the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It's ideal for anti-acne products due to its non-comedogenic qualities.
- SMA’RT Shea Butter is widely used in the cosmetic industry due to its superior action in reducing trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL), resulting in revitalized skin.
