Newer paint application systems subject coatings containing aluminum pigments to tremendous shear forces. These mechanical forces can have the tendency of dulling the metallic appearance of the final coating by breaking and deforming the individual aluminum flakes. Silberline's TUFFLAKE line of circulation-resistant pigments is specifically engineered to withstand these mechanical forces and maintain their targeted appearance.

Silberline's SILVET technology provides improved ease of handling, dispersion and compatibility in the extrusion of powder coatings. Metallic powder coatings pigmented with SILVET granules have the benefit of no picture frame effect and offer excellent recyclability and penetration into recessed areas. SILVET aluminum pigments are carried in a polymer known to be compatible with Epoxy, Hybrid, Polyester, Polyurethane and Acrylic powder coatings.

STARBRITE’s unique characteristics enable the formulator to achieve a smooth, mirror-like metallic effect with a highly-reflective, brilliant finish due to its exceptionally high surface area and aspect ratio. These products are supplied as 10% dispersion in ethyl acetate solvent, with certain other solvents available upon special request. STARBRITE Reveal offers broader compatibility and a greener manufacturing.

SPARKLE SILVER pigments are polished cornflakes manufactured specifically to maximize their silver metallic color and sparkle. They are ideally suited for use in industrial coatings where a strong metallic appearance is important. SPARKLE SILVET 880-20-E is a medium particle size, bright, SPARKLE SILVER® aluminum pigment produced in pellet form to reduce the potential for
generating airborne pigment particles and to improve ease of handling. The pigment flake has a polished cornflake geometry. SPARKLE SILVET
880-20-E is suitable for use in both plastics and powder coatings applications.

STARBRITE 6108-EAC vacuum metallized flake is a vacuum deposited, aluminum pigment. It prov ides a smooth, mirror-like metallic effect to deliver
highly reflective, brilliant finishes. STARBRITE 6108 EAC is suitable f or use in automotive coatings, general industrial coatings, and printing inks.

SILVET 210-20-J is a fine particle size, bright, leafing aluminum pigment based on cornflake geometry. It is typically used in solvent, liquid flexographic
and gravure inks where good coverage and strong metallic effects are required. SILVET 210-20-J is provided in pellet form carried in an aldehyde resin
that is compatible with most solvent soluble ink resins. SILVET "J" grades are soluble in ester and ketone solvents but not soluble in alcohols.

SPARKLE SILVET 760-20-E is a coarse particle size, SPARKLE SILVER® aluminum pigment produced in pellet form to reduce the potential for generating
airborne particles and to improv e ease of handling. The pellets are produced by a low shear process f or easy dispersion. The pigment f lake has a polished
cornflake geometry. The particle size distribution range is controlled to produce clean chromatic effects when used with transparent pigments and dyes.

Sparkle Silvet® 760-20-E

SPARKLE SILVET 790-20-E is a medium particle size, bright, SPARKLE SILVER® aluminum pigment produced in pellet form to reduce the potential for
generating airborne pigment particles and to improve ease of handling. The pigment flake has a polished cornflake geometry.  SPARKLE SILVET grades
with an “E” suffix are more economical than SPARKLE SILVET “E1” grades and hav e similar ease of handling.

TUFFLAKE 3650 is a very bright, coarse particle size silver dollar, non-leafing aluminum pigment. It is degradation resistant.
