Technical Details & Test Data
- Technical Performance
PROGILINE® FI 50100 defoaming and antifoaming performance is demonstrated by foam testing across the temperature range 50 - 100°C using a standardized reference solution of 0.5wt% sugar / 0.01wt% saponin. Foam control testing demonstrates that a dosage as low as ≈ 6ppm can be efficient in achieving foam height reduction >95% with ongoing foam inhibition for the duration of the Foam Inhibitor’s presence in the water. It is demonstrated that a dosage of ≈ 12ppm Foam Inhibitor can be efficient in ensuring a complete absence of foam formation.
