POLYTHICK 5423A has the following features:
- Exhibits moderate adhesive strength and removability from polypropylene film.
- Displays high transparency and weather resistance because the main component is an acrylate polymer.
- Does not require a curing agent due to its one-component type.
- Easily soluble in various solvents such as ketones solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons solvents and esters solvents.
- Excellent workability due to its low viscosity.

1. Preparation of Coating Solution
- This product is generally diluted with a solvent on a ratio of 1:1.
- Use toluene, cyclohexane, ethyl acetate or a combination of these solvents for dilution.
2. Coating
- As for coating machines, a gravure roll coater or another coating machine applicable to low-viscosity coating solutions is suitable.
- The standard coating amount is 5 − 20 g(residue on evaporation)/m2 . However, the optimal amount depends on the application and other conditions.
3. Drying
- Adhesive strength and holding power depends on the amount of coating to be used. However, dry between 50 and 100 °C for 30 − 60 seconds to obtain these desired properties. The coating should be dried very well so that none of the organic solvent remains because this product contains organic solvents.
