NORYL GTX blends polyamide (PA) and modified polyphenylene ether polymer (PPE) technology. It combines the dimensional stability, low water absorption and heat resistance of PPE polymer with the chemical resistance and flow of PA polymer. The result is an extremely chemically resistant material with the stiffness, impact resistance and heat performance required for on-line painting. The low density of unfilled NORYL GTX resin can provide part-weight savings of up to 25% over glass or mineral filled resins.

The NORYL family of modified PPE resins consists of amorphous blends of PPO™ resin (polyphenylene ether) and polystyrene. It offers robust performance in document handling, monitoring, and imaging applications.

NORYL™ Resin TP0140IF is a non-reinforced blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) and polystyrene (PS). This injection moldable grade is distinguished by its high transparency, excellent heat resistance, high ductility, minimal water absorption, and superior dimensional stability. NORYL™ Resin TP0140IF is compliant with FDA food contact regulations and does not intentionally contain PFAS or Bisphenol A. Ideal for a range of applications including small appliances, steamers, water bottles, cutlery, and other food contact uses, NORYL™ Resin TP0140IF offers manufacturers a reliable material choice that prioritizes safety, performance, and regulatory compliance in food-related applications.

NORYL™ Resin WM300G is a non-reinforced, impact-modified blend of Polyphenylene ether (PPE) and polystyrene (PS). This resin is noted for its superior surface appearance, high ductility, low moisture absorption, and exceptional dimensional and hydrolytic stability. The use of specialized impact modification ensures improved processing stability, minimizing the risk of restricted substance formation during processing. NORYL™ Resin WM300G is ideally suited for a range of water management applications, including valves, filtration components, and water meter internals. It can be processed via injection molding and extrusion (e.g., pipe and profile applications).

NORYL™ SA110A resin is a low molecular weight polymer based on polyphenylene ether (PPE). Miscibility of NORYL SA110A resin in polystyrene may allow use as a styrene endblock reinforcing resin in a variety of materials like styrene-based rubbers and styrene block copolymers. 

Adding NORYL SA110A resin to these systems may improve heat resistance (adhesion at elevated temperatures) while maintaining peel strength. The viscosity profile of NORYL SA110A resin makes it a good potential candidate for melt extrusion tape processes.

PPE Reactive Chemistries SA110A

NORYL™ SA90 resin is a low molecular weight bi-functional oligomer with increased hydroxyl functionality based on polyphenylene ether (PPE). It has the potential to be used as a reactive component in epoxy and cyanate ester thermosets in electronics, coatings, adhesives, and composites applications. It has outstanding solubility in toluene &amp; methyl ethyl ketone(MEK) and a low solution viscosity. Potential application areas include enhancing the performance (e.g. thermal, dielectric, mechanical, flame retardancy, and moisture uptake properties) of epoxy resins used in electronic packaging which include PCB laminates, copper clad laminates, epoxy prepregs, and protective coatings as well as various other composites applications. NORYL SA90 resin can also be blended with thermoplastic elastomers and cured elastomers, which may support the enhancement of certain properties. 
This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Each user is responsible for evaluating the presence of unintentional PFAS impurities.

NORYL™ SA9000 resin is a modified, low molecular weight, bi-functional oligomer based on polyphenylene ether (PPE) with vinyl end-groups. It is well suited for use with other unsaturated monomers and resins which cure via free radical reactions. These include styrenic, allylic, acrylic, maleimide, methacrylic, and unsaturated polyesters monomers and resins. It has a low solution viscosity and outstanding solubility in toluene &amp; methyl ethyl ketone (MEK). Key application areas are in electronic packaging which include PCB laminates, copper clad laminates, non-epoxy prepregs, and adhesives. The use of NORYL SA9000 is especially advantageous in insulating materials where very low dielectric properties and decreased moisture absorption are required. 
This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Each user is responsible for evaluating the presence of unintentional PFAS impurities.

NORYL™ AP2001G polyol is a low molecular weight di-functional hydroxyl-terminated polyol based on polyphenylene ether (PPE). The incorporation of NORYL AP2001G polyol into a solid elastomer matrix may demonstrate structure-property benefits in traditional CAST polyurethane material formulations. Incorporating NORYL AP2001G polyol into these systems may: - Improve toughness and reduce abrasion - Increase tensile strength - Improve strain modulus and elongation - Maintain physical properties at elevated temperatures and after humid aging - Improve resistance to alkaline, acid, water and oil - Improve adhesion to steel

NORYL™ SA120 is a low molecular weight polymer based on polyphenylene ether(PPE). NORYL SA120 is intended for use as an additive in a variety of materials like styrene-based rubbers and block copolymers, epoxies, phenolics, polyurethanes and unsaturated polyesters. Adding NORYL SA120 resin to these systems may improve thermal performance (glass transition temperature), adhesion at elevated temperatures, toughness, dimensional stability, chemical resistance to acids and bases, moisture absorption, and electrical properties (dielectric constant, dissipation factor).
