LEXAN™ FR Resin

SABIC's Specialties Business LEXAN BFL4000U Polycarbonate (PC) is an injection moldable non-chlorinated/brominated, unfilled, flame retardant grade with high flow. It is UV stabilized, light reflective and has an MVR of 22 (300°C/1.2kg) and a UL94 V0@1.5mm.

SABIC's Specialties Business LEXAN™ BM5225Y Polycarbonate resin is an injection moldable non chlorinated/brominated mineral-filled flame retardant grade. It features high modulus, good flow, ductility and low warpage. It has a UL94 V0@1.5mm and 5VB@1.5mm flame rating and is a good candidate for thin wall applications.

SABIC's Specialties Business LEXAN BX7241 Polycarbonate (PC) is an injection moldable non-chlorinated/brominated, unfilled flame retardant grade that has good impact and processability. It has an MVR of 18 (260°C/2.16kg), UL94 V0@0.6mm, 5VA at 3.0mm rating and can be ideal for thin wall applications.

LEXAN DSL1120 compound is based on Polycarbonate (PC) resin containing 20% glass bead. Added features of this grade include: Flame Retardant.

SABIC's Specialties Business LEXAN JK2500 compound is based on Polycarbonate/Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (PC/ABS) blend containing 20% carbon fiber. Added features of this grade include: Electrically Conductive, EMI/RFI Shielding Effectiveness of 21 dB at 1.5 mm, Non-Brominated, Non-Chlorinated Flame Retardant.

SABIC's Specialties Business LEXAN™ LC108 compound is based on Polycarbonate (PC) resin containing 8% carbon fiber. Added features of this grade include: Electrically Conductive, Flame Retardant. This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Each user is responsible for evaluating the presence of unintentional PFAS impurities.

SABIC's Specialties Business LEXAN LCF1506 compound is based on Polycarbonate (PC) resin containing 15% carbon fiber, 5% PTFE. Added features of this grade include: Electrically Conductive, Internally Lubricated, Wear Resistant and Flame Retardant

SABIC's Specialties Business LEXAN™ LGK3020 compound is based on Polycarbonate (PC) resin containing 20% glass fiber and 10% glass flake. Added features of this grade include: Flame Retardant. This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Each user is responsible for evaluating the presence of unintentional PFAS impurities.

This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Each user is responsible for evaluating the presence of unintentional PFAS impurities.

LGK4030 is based on Polycarbonate containing 40% of glass fiber and glass flakes. Added feature includes Dimensional Stability and Flame Retardant.

This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. SABIC's Specialties Business LEXAN ML7682 Polycarbonate (PC) is an injection moldable non-chlorinated/brominated, unfilled flame retardant grade with high flow and good heat and impact resistance. It is UV stabilized and has an MVR of 21 (300°C/1.2kg) and a UL94 V0@1.8mm, and is available in opaque color options.
