SILTEM™ Resin

Discover range of PEI resins - ULTEM™ resins – amorphous, transparent, polyetherimide starting with ULTEM™ 1000 unreinforced PEI resins, high-performance base material for blends, reinforced grades, offering: long-term high heat capability, dimensional stability, strength and modulus, inherent low FST, non-halogenated FR solution, hydrolytic and chemical stability, IR transparency, stable dielectric properties, lightweight, colorability.

ULTEM™ HU1004 resin, PEI resin blend, healthcare grade well suited for strong, durable medical devices that withstand multiple sterilization methods, offer enhanced hydrolytic stability in steam autoclave sterilization. ULTEM™ 9085 resin, a PEI resin blend, offers robust OSU/FST properties, meets FAA requirements, and may be used in impact-resistant aerospace interior parts, ground transport applications, pellet-fed additive manufacturing/3D printing.

ULTEM™ 2300, reinforced PEI resin, with CTE close to metal, well suited for fiber optic and electrical connectors, bracketry in aerospace and automotive, enable complex designs and simplification of assembly. ULTEM™ 3473, reinforced PEI resin, 40% lighter than aluminum and may support integrated antenna filter units (AFUs) including radiofrequency (RF) filters thanks to low CTE, Surface Mount Technology (SMT) process compatibility, excellent surface metallization performance.

NORYL GTX blends polyamide (PA) and modified polyphenylene ether polymer (PPE) technology. It combines the dimensional stability, low water absorption and heat resistance of PPE polymer with the chemical resistance and flow of PA polymer. The result is an extremely chemically resistant material with the stiffness, impact resistance and heat performance required for on-line painting. The low density of unfilled NORYL GTX resin can provide part-weight savings of up to 25% over glass or mineral filled resins.

The NORYL family of modified PPE resins consists of amorphous blends of PPO™ resin (polyphenylene ether) and polystyrene. They combine the inherent benefits of PPO resin (affordable high heat resistance, good electrical properties, excellent hydrolytic stability and the ability to use non-halogen FR packages), with excellent dimensional stability, good processibility and low specific gravity.NORYL resins offer a good balance of mechanical and chemical properties, and may be suitable for a wide variety of applications

LNP™ STAT-KON™ Compound KE005 is based on POM (acetal) copolymer resin with 25% carbon fiber, ensuring it is electrically conductive. This grade is characterized by high stiffness and strength, making it ideal for applications in electrical components and infrastructure, as well as material handling. It offers robust performance in document handling, monitoring, and imaging applications.

NORYL™ Resin TP0140IF is a non-reinforced blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) and polystyrene (PS). This injection moldable grade is distinguished by its high transparency, excellent heat resistance, high ductility, minimal water absorption, and superior dimensional stability. NORYL™ Resin TP0140IF is compliant with FDA food contact regulations and does not intentionally contain PFAS or Bisphenol A. Ideal for a range of applications including small appliances, steamers, water bottles, cutlery, and other food contact uses, NORYL™ Resin TP0140IF offers manufacturers a reliable material choice that prioritizes safety, performance, and regulatory compliance in food-related applications.

LNP™ VERTON™ Compound PX06419 combines Polyamide 6 (Nylon 6) resin with 50% long glass fiber and proprietary fillers, emphasizing heat stabilization and structural strength. Tailored for demanding applications in automotive exteriors, building components, and across various industrial sectors, this compound excels in providing high stiffness and strength without intentional PFAS additives. With its optimized formulation including both glass fiber and proprietary fillers,LNP™ VERTON™ Compound PX06419 ensures robust performance during injection molding processes. It is ideal for sport and leisure equipment, home appliances, and commercial appliances, delivering reliability and endurance where durability and performance are paramount.

NORYL™ Resin WM300G is a non-reinforced, impact-modified blend of Polyphenylene ether (PPE) and polystyrene (PS). This resin is noted for its superior surface appearance, high ductility, low moisture absorption, and exceptional dimensional and hydrolytic stability. The use of specialized impact modification ensures improved processing stability, minimizing the risk of restricted substance formation during processing. NORYL™ Resin WM300G is ideally suited for a range of water management applications, including valves, filtration components, and water meter internals. It can be processed via injection molding and extrusion (e.g., pipe and profile applications).

SABIC's Specialties Business CYCOLOY HCX1640 Polycarbonate/Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (PC/ABS) blend is a biocompatible (ISO10993 or USP Class VI) grade for medical devices and pharmaceutical applications. It has improved heat, flow and impact balance as compared with conventional PC/ABS blends. This grade adheres to our healthcare management of change policy. 
This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. Each user is responsible for evaluating the presence of unintentional PFAS impurities.
