Effects on Bacteria & Fungi (in vitri tests)
Different samples were prepared in sterile conditions. Beauté by Roquette® LS 007 was added at 1.5 % and two control samples were prepared with water at 1.5% (blank/unpreserved) or with gluconic acid at 1.5%.
Beauté by Roquette® LS 007 inhibits the growth of 5 microbial strains and is efficient vs blank and vs gluconic acid alone.
Preservative Booster, Challenge Test at pH 6 (o/w emulsion)
0,4% potassium sorbate alone
0,4% potassium sorbate + 1% Beauté by Roquette® LS 007
Beauté by Roquette® LS 007, at 1% concentration in an O/W emulsion and at pH 6, performs very well with potassium sorbate and fulfills criteria A of ISO norm 11930.
