Derived from Ethylenediamine and Hydroiodic acid, EDDI is a water soluble salt that comes in colorless to light yellow crystalline powder form. EDDI is widely used in the animal nutrition industry as it proves to be an excellent source of organic iodine for animal feed. It is used by companies in the animal health sector, in pet food and cattle feed as additives, premixes and salt blocks to prevent Iodine deficiency.

Store in closed containers away from heat and moisture. Causes irritation. Wear goggles and rubber gloves when handling bulk quantities. Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, clothing. In case of spillage, collect into container for disposal. Flush with plenty of water.
