MODAREZ® MFP is an acrylic based additive which improves the flow and spreading qualities of paints, varnishes and inks in non-aqueous medium. MODAREZ® MFP is FDA 175.300 approved which allows its use in food packaging applications. In addition it shows following characteristics:
- Improvement of the flow and spreading
- Reduction in surface defaults: fish eyes, craters, orange peel, pin holes
- Air-release property
- No interference with inter-coat adhesion
Due to its excellent compatibility characteristics, MODAREZ® MFP can be used with a wide range of binders such as: silicone resins, chlorinated rubber, 2 K polyurethanes, oil free polyesters, alkyds, epoxy, acrylics…..
- Method of Use and Recommended Levels
- MODAREZ® MFP can be added at any stage of the production process as delivered or diluted in a solvent for better handling.
- Addition amount – 0,1 - 2 % on total formulation.
