PFI C Flakes are offered for use in applications ranging in many applications including corrosion resistant coatings, polymer reinforcements and specialty pigments. The PFI T Flakes have been shown to increase the chemical resistance of coatings, improve the dimensional stability of moldings, and reduce surface waviness while providing a unique substrate for pigment deposition. The PFI C Flakes have the ability to be engineered in a wide range of specifications offering new and unique applications.

FIBERCLAD from Progressive Fillers &amp; Additives International is a precision cut solution pigmented rayon fiber produced at a 3 X 0.6 mm. This fiber creates a soft and smooth appearance when incorporated in various plastics. The black viscose rayon is produced and pigmented to give a strong appearance on the surface and within the matrix. The loading levels to achieve a subtle effect are .5 to 1%. Loading levels up to 5% will create a rich texture appearance

MICACLAD F.C combines high-aspect ratio reinforcing cosmetic grade micas with the added advantage of an FDA compliant pigment sealed with an FDA compliant binding system. The result is a safe non-dispersing pigment, a vibrant color enhancement to the particle creating effects ranging from a subtle luster to a full simulated stone, the opacity of the flakes is sufficiently high to retain the reflectance in both aqueous and polymer based systems. Giving color fast pigment dispersions on a reinforcing mica particle could reduce raw material costs dramatically.


MICACLAD F.C

Micaclad Conductive Silver Flakes (CSM100) is a highly conductive silver mica with a dry bulk resistivity of .002 ohms/cm. These pure silver platelets have the shielding and conductive properties of solid metal silver with a fraction of the cost. ColorLite from Progressive Fillers International is a non-dispersing pigment for FDA compliant special effects for the Masterbatch, Compounding, Paint and Coatings industries. ColorLite combines the benefits of a light weight proprietary flake with a brilliant non-dispersing pigmented color, creating a revolutionary unique composite.

CHS 

Progressive Fillers International offers a solution to the industrial standard dark color of conductive and antistate applications by offering a radiant shine to conductive additives, the CSL lines are conductive synthetic flakes with an adjustable specific gravity and density to fit the project. Having full control designing the weight, dimensions and over all parameters of the flake gives the customer full control over their original design and cost.

This light, fade resistance and colorfast material is an ideal additive for plastics, injection molding, roto-molding and masterbatch extrusion. Due to the technology the Polyclad is not recommend for use in water based equipment.

Conductive Silver Spheres (CHS) are highly conductive, low density, spherical powders and particles with a dry bulk resistivity of .001 ohms/cm. Offering seamless electrical continuity of pure silver at a fraction of the cost and weight. The CHS additives are noticeably lighter than solid silver in paints, Composites and adhesive, while providing excellent conductivity, the low particle density of the CSGS and large surface area facilitates slow phase
separation in paints and adhesives compared to heavy metallic and organic fillers. The CHS also works well when used as catalysts, laser fusion targets, and electrically conducting bond line spacers in advanced electronics and other applications.

The CHS additives are engineered for high conductivity and shielding electromagnetic interference while improving the applications impact strength. The spheres can be customized from size to silver % to fit the application.
