Prime ABS Weather-X 401 Film is a thin gage extruded acrylic (PMMA) protective cap film that can be laminated to plastic substrates, such as ABS, HIPS, and PMMA. Its exceptional UV protection extends the indoor and outdoor durability of the base sheet. Extruded acrylic film also protects the substrate from yellowing and fading. Its consistent high gloss outshines the finish of brown acrylic films. This tough film also provides abrasion resistance, mildew and fungus resistance, as well as, protection from chemical spillage.

Prime ABS Weather-X 400 is an ABS substrate capped with a weatherable film. The substrate properties will depend on the material specified for use. Primex offers substrates of Prime, Utility and/or Wide Spec material. This product is ideal for exterior and interior thermoformed parts requiring high gloss appearance and retention as well as scratch resistance. Primex also offers this product with a low gloss appearance.

Prime ABS Film-X 100 is a Prime ABS substrate with a UV and chemical resistant film. It is available in high gloss with a good DOI or low gloss.

Prime Weather-X ML500 is a multi layer sheet structure of up to 5 layers but is typically 3 consisting of Acrylic, ASA and ABS. An acrylic clear coat finish provides a hard, stain resistant surface that has excellent gloss, depth of image, chemical resistance and surface hardness. This layering technique provides superior UV protection, color stability and ease of formability.

Prime ABS 750 is a general purpose ABS product that has good impact strength, and good hot strength for thermoforming. It is an amorphous thermoplastic material and therefore, processes easier than some other thermoplastic materials.

Prime Weather X ML200 offers one of the highest esthetics, gloss and depth of image in the industry, our Prime ABS Weather X ML 200 may consist of 3 5 layers but is typically 3 consisting of clear acrylic, colored acrylic and ABS. Key properties are surface hardness, chemical resistance, weatherability , toughness and excellent formability.

Prime ABS Weather-X 200 is an acrylic capped co extruded ABS sheet, which can be produced as a two or three multilayer composite. The acrylic cap imparts a very high gloss, vibrant colors with superior depth of image, excellent UV protection, chemical resistance, toughness and excellent formability.

Prime ABS Weather-X 500 is an ABS substrate with a co extruded cap of an advanced Amorphous Terpolymer of Acrylic Styrene Acrylonitrile. It offers exceptional durability in weather related environments without painting or other types of UV protection. It can retain its color stability under long term exposure to the sun’s rays. It offers good esthetics, color options, good chemical resistance and high heat performance.

Prime ABS Weather-X 100 is an ABS substrate with an acrylic co extruded cap. If requested a thin layer of acrylic can be extruded on the back side for rigidizing. It offers good weatherability , chemical resistance, and high gloss with good DOI.

Prime ABS ST80 is an alloy of weatherable thermoplastic elastomers co extruded over a rigid ABS substrate. It was designed to provide a low gloss look and soft feel, which boasts excellent durability, chemical resistance and UV stability as well as improved sound dampening.
