PhlexRez ES-P40M

• NitroRez ES-P40 is a 40% NV solution of Phenoxy resin in methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) and PMA.
• Phenoxy resins (polyhydroxyethers) are tough, ductile, amorphous polymers adhesive and cohesive strength, and excellent vapor barrier properties.
• Phenoxy resins also react with crosslinkers like isocyanates, phenolic & melamine resins along the backbone hydroxyl groups.
• NitroRez ES-P40 MEK provides for ease of handling in a pumpable fluid.
• NitroRez ES-P40 MEK can be reduced with additional MEK to attain lower viscosities, however below about 22% solids, the solution becomes unstable.
• An addition of 1% by weight of water will permit stable solutions below 22% solids.
• Solutions of ES-P40 MEK can be blended with solvent miscible crosslinkers & hardeners.
• Coatings of ES-P40 MEK exhibit excellent levels of flexibility and hardness when appropriately cured.

• PhlexRes ES-P40M has been designed for use in high performance coatings, adhesives, and composite.
• PhlexRes ES-P40M is a totally solvent reducible system that is flexible for thermoset or thermoplastic applications.

• This solution is stable in normal storage conditions.  
• It is flammable and should be stored accordingly.
• Wear OSHA standard respirators, gloves, and other appropriate PPE when handling large quantities.
• This solution should be stored between 5°C (41°F) and 35°C (105°F).
• The product should be stored indoors in tightly closed containers away from heat sources.
• All storage areas should conform to local fire and building codes.
