- Recommended Applications
Tallicin® R-44 contributes to pigment wetting when added during the grind stage, but does not require any dispersion or special activation to develop desired performance for anti-settling. The product can be added at any point in the paint-making process or afterwards to the finished paint. Tallicin® R-44 is used as a post-add to promote sag resistance in the finished paint with minimal effect on apparent viscosity
- Recommended Use Levels
Tallicin® R-44 is recommended for use in the range of 0.4% to 0.8% by weight of the paint, with the optimum amount dependent on the formulation used.

- Compatibility and Storage
Tallicin® Anti-Settle R-44 is a dispersant for non-aqueous coatings that offers improved pigment suspension in low-viscosity coatings systems such as stains, helping to improve resistance to caking and hard packing. Tallicin® R-44 does not does not affect appearance, gloss, dry time or durability. Do not use Tallicin® R-44 in paints containing aluminum or zinc dust due to the possibility of gassing.
Do not ship or store Tallicin® R-44 at temperatures below 40°F. due to the likelihood of crystallization. Usually any crystals can be dissolved by heating to room temperature with agitation. Store or ship in a heated environment.
